Concept
For the global launch of The Jockey Room (a first-of-its-kind platform offering horse-racing predictions and insights from seasoned, licensed jockeys), I directed a cinematic campaign video designed to capture the heart and heritage of horse racing while positioning the platform as a modern innovation in betting intelligence.
Inspired by films like Seabiscuit and Secretariat, the ad creates an emotional bridge between legacy and technology. It romanticises the intuitive artistry of the jockey — not just as a competitor, but as the true authority — and invites viewers to value hands-on wisdom over speculation.
Creative Challenge
Animating highly specific, believable horse movement sequences using AI posed a major challenge. I solved this by sourcing realistic stock footage and crafting hybrid motion scenes, combining Runway Gen-3’s capabilities with reference-driven shots to maintain continuity and realism.
